We partner with individuals and local churches to enrich the lives of international students through hospitality, events, and social outings. Volunteering can take many different forms; we strive to provide practical daily support and meaningful friendships to foreign students as they acclimate to a new culture and school.
Some ways our volunteers help: - Distributing gift bags to new students - Organizing shopping trips with students for school supplies, home necessities, and clothing - Around Town Tour of downtown Raleigh, Supper Club, Coffee & Conversation Club, iMOMS, SKEMA Mentor/Mentee Program, and N.C. State campus - Inviting students to their homes for family dinner - Hosting holiday get togethers & events - Leading group activities, such as hiking trips, park picnics, sporting events, museums, and trips to the zoo
